Stephen Magdadaro and his family need your help

On 3/4/19 Stephen Magdadaro suffered a severe stroke and aneurysm. This was followed by multiple complications and for months, Stephen struggled between life and death. Christina (his wife) and Jasmine (his 16-year-old daughter) were by his side day after day and only by the grace of God, Stephen was stable enough to return home on 8/7/19. His struggles are not over, but the family is happy and thankful to have him back. He continues to have no movement on his left side and relies on a wheelchair to get around.
After months of hospitalization and rehabilitation, this family's financial situation has reached a desperate point. The little savings they had is gone and the bills continue to pile up. Friends and family have been helping, but resources are limited.
In addition to mortgage payments, living expenses and enormous medical bills, the family is faced with having to make some home modifications to allow the use of the wheelchair inside. The bathroom in particular is a big problem. Because of the current setup, Stephen cannot be showered. Christina has been doing sponge baths to keep him clean since getting back home. We have reached out trying to find some volunteers who can help, but the project is too complex and overwhelming and no one was able to get involved. Several companies were contacted and the lowest bid for the bathroom alone came in at $15,000.
