Stephen Tyree battles cancer

Donation protected
On April 23 we learned that Stephen would start an adventure like none other when he was diagnosed with Stage 3 rectal cancer. While our hearts remain heavy, we continue to give thanks for the many blessings he is able to receive.

When discussing this battle with Stephen, the word adventure came up over and over again. This word made us talk about Disney’s movie “Up” and the scene where Ellie gives Carl a grape soda bottle cap and says “you and me, we’re in a club now!” Unfortunately, we are in a club that no one wants to join, but must against all will. So we choose to remain positive. We choose to remain faithful. We choose to remain standing in a battle, linked arm in arm facing cancer straight on.

Anything helps Stephen and (his beautiful wife) Carla’s fight against not only the cancer itself, but the financial burden that his treatment will bring. If you can’t give financially please give in prayer for healing. Also, we hope to start a meal train for them soon!

We would love to share our “custom made” grape soda bottle caps with everyone who donates as a simple way to say thank you! When wearing these pins, remember to think of Stephen and say a little prayer, send some positive juju, or do a Interpretive dance. Anything and everything helps during this adventure. Thank you doesn’t seem like enough, but we are forever grateful in advance.
