Stephen's Trip to the World Axe&Knife Throwing Championship

Donation protected
Hey there! I'm Stephen Neal and I'm trying to raise funds to help me make it to the World Axe and Knife Throwing Championships from April 2-6th in Appleton, Wisconsin. I'm competing in ALL 5 EVENTS and my entry fees alone are over $780, plus travel costs, food, lodging, and incidental expenses. On a teacher salary those expenses are going to be a strain on finances and could mean that I may not be able to make it. While I've been able to make it to every world championship since 2020 this is the first time I've been able to qualify for every single event (hatchet, hatchet duals, big axe, knives, and knife duals) and it was a major goal of mine at the beginning of the year last year to make it to every event and I'm proud to say that, while audacious, I was able to put in the work and achieve my goals! I'm not great at asking for help but here we are. Times are tough, not just for individuals but also for sponsors, and I have no sponsors to put on my jersey this year. If you can spare a little something to help me make it to the competition this year it would mean the world to me. Even if you can't spare anything feel free to drop me a "good luck"! Positivity goes a long way as well.

What will your money go to?
1. Entry Fees. My entry fees this year are over $780 just to compete. On a teacher salary that's a pretty big ask, but it's one I'll do what I can to achieve.

2. Travel Expenses. While flying would certainly be the most convenient way to get there, I'm going to be driving up with several other of my fellow competitors and I'm going to have to help chip in for gas at the very least. If the budget allows for it I would prefer to rent a car/van so we aren't putting a 12 hour drive and the associated wear/tear on one of our personal vehicles.

3. Lodging. To help cut down on expenses for the group we are going to book an AirBnB. My portion could be anywhere +/- $200 depending on what's available.

4. Incidental Expenses. We all like to eat and food/drinks are pretty high on my list of things I'd like to have while I'm competing. Plus that there's always the risk of equipment malfunctions/breakage (especially in duals) and I may find myself in need of an immediate replacement.
