Surgery - Cervical Spinal Fusion

**Update: I had the surgery, apparently it went well but they found more than they thought they would and I am in excruciating pain… Doc said it looks like I will be out for about 8 weeks or more until I can return full time which is why I have increased the set goal amount to $8500.  Thank you in advance to everyone that has been so extremely generous! ❤️

• As I’m sure a lot of you know, I am a Barber at The Standard Barbershop. Unfortunately, I am having/had surgery on July 7th due to multiple herniated and degenerated discs. I will be having a Cervical Spinal Fusion which means they will be fusing 3 of my vertebrae together (C5, C6 and C7). Due to the recovery time, I will be out of work for 4-6 weeks. 
•  I am a 1099 employee (independent contractor) which means, if I’m unable to work, I will have zero income nor do I get benefits or paid time off and surgery is quite expensive. On top of all of this, my fiancée and I are in the middle of planning our wedding in September.  
• I’ve been dealing with constant daily pain for over 2 years now and I needed to get better so that we BOTH could enjoy our special day ‍and my life outside of work! 
• Although I feel ashamed asking for help, I started this account to help offset some of the costs and help get me through this time with no income. If you’re willing and able to contribute (any little bit helps!) I would greatly appreciate it.  If not, I totally understand!
