Steph is a 35 year old mother of Landon (1yr old). She is a traveler, adventurer, and wife. She is also a breast cancer fighter. Please help support this young family during the difficult season ahead.
On behalf of our friends, Steph and Dan, we have created this campaign to support their family in their time of need:
Steph is a 35 year old mother of Landon (1yr old) and an emergency medicine physician. She is a traveler, adventurer, and wife. She is also a breast cancer fighter.
Even as a medical doctor, her own diagnosis came as a complete shock. She has undergone a lumpectomy and is currently starting chemotherapy treatment.
Her husband, Dan, has been Landon’s primary caretaker while Steph works full-time. She will be unable to work for at least the next six months during her treatment as chemo kills off white blood cells making her highly susceptible to illness or disease at her workplace.
While Dan looks for work outside the home to supplement their income, we want to Step Up for Steph and her family.
Please consider donating (or sharing the donation link) to support this amazing young family with the following expenses:
Medical expenses not covered by insurance ($$$) – countless copays, doctor visits, scans, and medications
Cold cap therapy ($3,200.00) – While Steph, herself, does not want to spend the extra money on this hair-saving treatment, she is also devastated with the thought of potentially permanently losing her beautiful hair. As her friends and family, we would love to give her this gift, stress-free.
Life expenses ($$$) – child care, groceries and everything else. Steph and Dan will mostly be relying on their savings at this time.
Fertility treatment ($15,000.00+) – Steph and Dan have always hoped to give Landon a sibling someday. As chemo drugs kill fertility (likely permanently at Steph’s age), she has undergone an egg harvesting procedure and embryo freezing. She will still need chromosomal testing and IVF.
Steph and Dan appreciate SO MUCH all of the love and support that has been shared with their family. They would appreciate a donation of ANY amount towards offsetting these costs. Please donate and SHARE this campaign with your family, friends, and networks.
Cancer affects us all. When we hear a cancer diagnosis, we often want to help but don’t know how. This is how: donate (if you can) & share.
Please join us as we all Step Up for Steph!
With gratitude, hope, and a fighting spirit,
Neo & Natalie Kang
