Paying Tribute to Sterling Alavache
Donation protected
In unfortunate events, Sterling Ramone Alavache, age 36, passed away in Fort Myers, Florida.
Sterling was known for his giving soul, and his duty to help and uplift others. To those nearest to him, Sterling was a source of joy with a mission to plant a smiles on other's faces. His legacy lives on through the countless people whose lives were touched by his kindness. Others share of him helping them through their own recovery journey, while in the midst of his own, as he remained committed to helping others find peace and sobriety. This remained his biggest mission in his spare time. It is reassuring to know that Sterling had such a profound effect on so many he met during his time in Charlotte County, Florida.
Throughout his lifetime, Sterling faced the challenges of living with paranoid schizophrenia and manic depression, also referred to as bipolar disorder. This was later accompanied by his struggle with drug and alcohol abuse, but he never gave up the fight. In the years following his wife's passing in 2018, Sterling put forth great efforts towards remaining sober and clean; it is then others got to see him at his best. In 2022, Sterling was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, a disease causing progressive shutdown of the body through damage to the central nervous system. Despite his initial determination to stay positive, the rapid progression of his M.S soon made it challenging for him to preserve his optimism and be his best self. This gradually gave way to his struggle to remain clean, which became an induction of his mental struggles. Though loved ones must now grieve Sterling's absence, they find solace in the fact that he is at peace, and these struggles are no more.
He is survived by his three children, Kimora, Re'Chaun, and Sterling JR; his mother, Ramona; his father, Calvin; his stepfather, Evyn, and his siblings Tristan, Rasheem, Ramona, Yvonne, Evyna, Evyn and Kyle. He also leaves behind grandparents, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He is predeceased by his oldest brother, Re'Chaun, and his wife, Ciara Alavache.
This gofundme was created to assist the family with the costs associated with Sterling's death. He will be intimately laid to rest. Any leftover or extra will be split between his three children. The family thanks you for privacy.
