Sterling Bristol Memorial Fund
Donation protected
This fund has been established in the memory and honor of Sterling Bristol, who joined our Lord on November 4th, 2018 at the age of 68.
After a severe accident when he was seventeen, Sterl was told he would not be able to continue his education. Despite being confined to a wheelchair for the remaining five decades of his life, Sterling graduated with honors from Central Connecticut State University in 1975, where with great success, he campaigned for wheelchair accessibility. After years of powerfully ministering the love of Jesus, Sterling was awarded an honorary Doctorate Degree in Divinity. Sterling worked the later part of his career in the Veterans Administration in Wilkes Barre, PA, where as a manager, he was instrumental in helping veterans receive prosthetics. Sterling was the founder and Lead Pastor of Breakthrough Ministries for Jesus in Bloomsburg, PA. His calling was to teach and minister the salvation, love, and power of God. Sterling ministered and evangelized in many places over the years including Haiti, Trinidad, and local prisons, and was a founding member of the local chapter of the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship. He taught the fullness of God’s word in truth and power, ever demonstrating his own walk of faith and perseverance. Sterling is the author of 100 Fold Strength and many Christian study guides. Sterling will be forever loved and missed by his family and countless brothers and sisters in Christ.
Sterling's life was all about worship and charity. We'd like to continue his charity by sharing the proceeds of this fund with the Emanuel Dutch Hill Bible Church in Bloomsburg, PA, the Freedom Life Church in Milton, PA, and the Bloomsburg Chapter of the Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship.
His final resting place will be at Dutch Hill Cemetery in Bloomsburg, PA.
