STERLING DISASTER VICTIMS
Donation protected
Elderly people, stripped of their life savings, being threatened with eviction, now forced to beg for funding for Funerals. Sterling Disaster Victims is not a club they chose to belong to. 16 people have passed away, waiting for Federal Government to fix this problem. For two years, elderly persons (av age 80) have been left in a nightmare limbo by "rent for life Ponzi Scam". Landlords threaten eviction and writs, after life savings were stolen in 2016. Regulator ASIC knew of danger in 2015 and failed to act. ASIC Chiefs blame Government. Elderly people left stressed and bewildered walking the streets begging for help. Now they fear they have no funds for expected funerals. A few are no suffering life threatening stress related illnesses. Their courage is amazing, yet stress is a killer. The funds will be paid into a special fund used (during past 20 years) for Banking and Finance victims of consumer fraud. This is a temporary request to ensure the needs are met for only the costs of funeral . Hopefully a properly handled fund will alleviate the stress and suffering for all the Sterling Disaster Victims.
Stress has seen 16 persons pass away since mid 2019. Aged 68 and over, they have suffered terrible stress related illnesses. Their loved ones battle on. My work has been voluntary the past two years. Those funds are not for my services. I simply came out of retirement to look after the Sterling Disaster victims.
These people need to know funerals are covered. Its the least we can do. It makes me sad and breaks my heart to see older people treated this way by ASIC and Treasury. Please help them.
