Stethoscope for hearing impaired EMT

I am an EMT and a US Navy Veteran.  I was recently prescribed hearing aids which has dramatically improved my life.  Most who know me have no idea because I keep my ears covered.  But I have ran into challenges with hearing aids and my profession.

While working as an EMT I regularly use stethoscopes to provide patient care. I’ve been trying to use the standard stethoscope. In order to use it, I have to take out the hearing aids, and it makes it hard to hear the patients vitals. I have also dropped a hearing aid during 911 calls and it can eat up precious time trying to find it.

I found an “over the ear” stethoscope device but it’s expensive and I will attach pictures of the device I am looking to get. This device allow me to listen to lung sounds, heart beats, etc, and I wouldn’t have to take out my hearing aids.

If anyone is willing to help out, I would greatly appreciate it. It would be for a great cause. Not only would it help me with my profession, but it will help me better help the community.
