Steve Brewster, a loving Father, Husband and Son.
Donation protected
Our community is devastated by the sudden and unexpected loss of Steve Brewster, a loving Father, Husband and Son and a man of tremendous faith. Steve passed away tragically last Sunday, after dropping off his 13 year old son with the baseball carpool for a game, which he planned on attending. He never made it to the game.
Steve was the head of household. Steve’s absence is going to be felt emotionally and financially. He left behind his wife Ada, and two beautiful children, Evan and Hannah, both of which will graduate at the end of this school year from middle school and high school.
Steve and Ada fell in love many years ago. They met at a church event and were inseparable ever since. As parents they dedicated their life to their faith and to caring and nurturing their immediate and extended family. Steve absolutely loved to be active with his children, from riding bikes, to playing tennis or volunteering for his son's baseball teams.
Steve’s life purpose was to help others and always wore a smile while doing it. One of his greatest volunteer projects was time spent in Haiti, where he learned to speak Creole. When he was not volunteering, he was working at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, where he worked for decades.
Steve would have given the shirt off his back for anyone in need. The next few years will be very costly for the Brewster Family, with the incoming high school and college expenses. Ada is only able to continue working part-time, as she is the primary care giver to her sick and elderly mother.
Help us show the Brewster Family the kind of love and support that Steve would have given others, during these trying times.
All donations collected will go towards funeral & schooling expenses for both children.
Steve had a zest for life and the kindest of hearts. His shining light will be greatly missed by all that had the opportunity to know him.
