Steve Cain recovery fund

Hi my name is Steve Cain. I unfortunately was in a car accident on September 22. I was hit from behind sitting at a traffic light which really whipped my neck back. I went to the ER that night having neck and head pain, they did a CT scan on my neck with no contrast and found everything to be in order. Moving forward 16 days I wasn't feeling right, I had tingling in my head and down my left side plus my blood pressure was in triple digits. I went back to a different ER that night, they did another CT Scan with contrast and ended up finding that I had Vertebral Artery Dissection, which means I have a tear in an artery in my neck. Spent 3 days in the hospital. I have to watch how I bend and turn my head and neck, I even have to be careful blowing my nose or sneezing, i cant lift anything more than 5 pounds, if i do more damage to this tear could it cause aneurysms which could lead to having a stroke. I have a few small pockets of blood around the tear which i have to monitor and is why I'm taking blood thinners to keep them at bay. I'm also not able to drive for the next 3 to 6 months because if i did i run the risk of getting in another accident which wouldn't be good at all. I'm am spending the next few months until this is healed in a neck brace, unless I'm sleeping. I go back to the neurosurgeon December 19 to have my neck rescanned to see if the artery is healed. So I am asking for any assistance you offer to help with that way the basic needs can be covered, bills, being able stay on top of things until I'm back on my feet.
