Steve Conway Multiple Myeloma and Transplant Help
Donation protected
In June of 2021, Steve was diagnosed with multiple myeloma after a tumor was found in his leg causing pain. He underwent surgery in June to place a rod to help stabilize his upper leg. A second surgery was required to place a rod in his lower leg. Radiation and chemo were started in August. He is currently responding to the treatments and is scheduled for a stem cell transplant in December. This will require a 3 week hospital stay and 4 weeks of recovery at home afterwards. While he's been working remotely through his treatments thus far, he recently was informed that his department at work would be eliminated and he is now currently unemployed facing the medical expenses, insurance premiums, living expenses, a new insurance deductible come Jan 1 and living and travel costs while undergoing treatment. Any help would be greatly appreciated to get through the next couple months before he is able to find work again. Thank you for taking the time to read through Steve's story. On behalf of him and our entire family, we appreciate the prayers and assistance thus far in his journey. By Kimberly Conway Babcock
