Steve Goben & Family House Fire Recovery

As some of you know, longtime Head Track and Field Coach Steve Goben, who was a true inspiration to so many during his time at Burleson High School, tragically lost his home to a fire in October. He and his family lost a lot to the fire but they are fighting to bounce back from it through faith and the support from their community. Coach Goben was one of the most transformational coaches this profession has ever seen. The impact he made both on the track and in the classroom with his students and athletes marks who he is as a person and a leader. Since retiring, he still makes an effort to pour into his former athletes and coaches he worked with.

We are hosting a track meet in his honor to help in any way we can. We will be accepting cash donations as well as donations through this GoFundMe account that will be accessible at the entry gate to the stadium. All of the money collected will go directly to the Gobens as they try to rebuild after their loss. Thank you for your support!
