Steve Johnston Medical $$ Help

 On our 32nd anniversary, my 62 year old husband and I were told that he has late stage liver cancer. The treatments are going to be expensive.  We have already incurred several thousand dollars in medical bills... that is before treatment. Although we have insurance, it is NOT very good, it's through the local school board and does not pay for name brand drugs much less specialty drugs.
 We have a great doctor, Dr. Cabrera, who is a renowned world wide cancer researcher at Shands Teaching Hospital in Gainesville, FL. He believes he can help Steve live longer and with good quality of life by prescribing expensive Chemo pills. Although no one can predict how long Steve has, with or without treatment, when suggested six month to two years, no one denied that probable outcome. 
 We have always been fiscally responsible but this was something totally unexpected. We have never asked for help and this is hard for me but I want to give my husband every chance to live as normally and as long as possible.
