Steve Lowry Family Support

Our family has been in shock over the sudden loss of Steve Lowry, Jerri Malloy’s partner for 19 years, to a heart attack.
Since 2005, Jerri has been faithfully by Steve’s side in good times and in challenges, including a 2010 car accident that left him wheel chair bound for months, loss of work during the pandemic, a fall from a 30 foot rooftop while on a photography job, diabetes and cancer. Steve was a survivor and faced tough times with grit and a smile.
He was an entrepreneur, a creative and an artist— and he was a good friend to many.
It was rare to see Steve without a camera, and the photographs he leaves behind are a treasured gift to so many of our family and friends. We will certainly miss him! He always said “enjoy the day and those around you.”
Our grief and shock are profound, and yet, there are practical needs to attend to as well. Jerri is suddenly without her partner and there are significant mounting expenses that need to be covered. Like many people who work in the arts, Steve didn't have life insurance or savings.
If Steve helped you or encouraged you during your years of friendship, please consider giving what you can to help Jerri as she begins the process of healing and rebuilding her life.
We thank you for your prayers, kindness, support and love.
