Steve Manzone's Heart Surgery

Hello everyone my name is Nick Manzone, growing up with my brother Nathan Manzone and sister Kailinn Manzone we were commonly known as “Steve’s kids”. Our father Stephen Manzone has been a lifetime resident of fairhaven where he has ran and operated Baystate construction for 30+ years serving the community and helping anyone in need. He is the guy you would call after a storm ripped your roof off and you didn’t have the money to fix it or if you were broken down and needed a helping hand. He has been giving back to his community and to those in need his whole life and if your fortunate enough to know him you would certainty call him a friend because chances are he was there for you when you needed help and he probably didn’t ask for anything more then a thanks or a homemade meal. He’s a man who is easily recognized by his burley figure, he is an animal lover with a heart of gold and a strong moral compass that would never let him turn his back on someone in need. He’s someone who would give you his shirt off his back but has never been someone to ask for help when he is in need. Earlier this year he was battling health issues and was diagnosed with congestive heart failure that has lead him down a fast track for open heart surgery to have a mechanical valve implanted in his heart that is scheduled for February 28th. Due to the urgency of the surgery, it has left our family with minimal time to prepare and financially prepare him for not only the surgery but the rehabilitation after the surgery. As a family we have collectively came together to help as much as we can but we are asking for additional help from family and friends. We understand that the cost of living is absurd now a days and that not everyone can financially donate money to help but any donation would be helpful even if it’s a homecooked meal, a personal visit or a prayer.
