Steve Melville Memorial

Steve Melville was more then just a friend to many, he was a reason to make you laugh and feel appreciated. He lived his life as a true Rocker allowing music to guide every step that he took. Which in itself is pure magic, which defines who he was. Steve's life is best summed up in what he loved. The American Rock Anthem. Steve was a guy that in the opinion of many never had to apologize because no matter who you were Steve would treat you like you were the greatest gift god ever gave him. He would look into your soul and be like "Oh yea, that's my friend, this person has value" Not many people are able to do that.
Steve spent his life in celebration, even through the most difficult of times including his past bout with cancer.
Steve has one more thing in common with music. A great song has a way to play in your head over and over again and at the same time move you to a level of emotion and understanding that simple spoken words cannot do. That was Steve, he was one of life's greatest songs and will be remembered forever.
Last night on 2/12/18 Steve passed away at Elmhurst hospital accompanied by friends and family.
He is mourned by his Mother Ellen and his daughters Megan,  Anastasia, Trudy and his Grandchildren.
While Steve has lots of people who love him he did not have life insurance and his family has requested assistance in the matter of his funeral.
If at all possible please help by donating to help the family with these costs. Time is of the essence since the family has to set up the care of his remains.
Steve Melville, you will always be loved.

Steve's family is currently researching if there is anything put aside to pay for his arrangements. If they do come across funds I will have all donations refunded directly through Gofund Me unless requested to give the donation to the family in place of flowers.
