Steve Parker Memorial Bench in Horsforth Park

We are raising money for a Memorial Bench in Horsforth Hall Park for the wonderful

Mr Steve Parker .

Hall Park is at the centre of Horsforth and just a stone's throw from where Steve was born in the Victorias just off New Road Side - as Steve called it the 'proper' part of Horsforth. A regular meeting place for him in his childhood and beyond where he spent so much time .

There is no place more perfect for a memorial to Steve and is somewhere where his friends and family can gather to pay their respects and remember him.

No one who met Steve could ever forget him. He showed incredible bravery in his final month facing up to his cancer and was still cracking jokes whilst he was able.

It's an overused cliche to say we'll never see a person's like him again but with Steve you won't. Steve will be missed by many.

Steves's Funeral took place in Lockdown so we were not able to give donations, so we thought this was a fitting page where all can donate for the memorial bench and Cancer Research.
