Steve Rademacher Fight Against Lung Cancer

Hi, my name is Matt Scott, and I am fundraising to support Steve Rademacher, a true and loyal friend. In mid-October, Steve was diagnosed with stage four lung cancer, which has severely impacted his ability to generate consistent income. I am asking for help from the community, friends, and family to support Steve and his family as they navigate the financial challenges cancer has caused.

Steve initially visited the doctor in October, experiencing pain in and limited use of his left arm. Following the examination, a PET scan and biopsy confirmed Steve had cancer. The scan identified a mass on his lung and showed that cancer had spread to a lymph node on his left side. The swollen lymph node was putting pressure on a nerve, causing pain and mobility issues with his arm. Treatment initially focused on reducing the swelling in the lymph node to ease the pain and improve mobility in the arm. Steve began radiation immediately in November, undergoing ten treatments. The week before Christmas, doctor’s installed his port, and Steve will undergo immunotherapy until March 2023.

Steve has been a carpenter his entire life. Working with his hands provides his family’s livelihood, and cancer and treatments have severely impacted his ability to work and generate income. Any amount that you can donate will greatly contribute to easing the family’s financial burden from medical and monthly bills while they battle cancer.
