Steve recover from Dog ACL Tear

Hey friends & family, many of you know we adore our Steve. He has not been enjoying his puppy life to the fullest as of late due to a torn doggie ACL - CCL in dogs. We've had a thorough exam from his Vet in Didsbury, he's in great shape otherwise!! We have chosen not to do the surgery that is commonly required to repair this injury in a dog of his size, we cannot afford the surgery & it is common for large dogs to re-injur or re-tear post op. I have already gone through with ordering his POSH Dog Knee Brace. This looks to be a fantastic way to allow his leg to heal and restore his mobility. The cost for the brace is high, and it is in USD as it comes from the US. Feel free to check it out online! Obviously we are trying to recover enough $$ to cover the CDN converted cost plus shipping & GFM fees. The money we are requesting through GoFundMe will aid us in being able to quickly pay off the debt that we are going to accumulate on the CC in getting this brace for Steve. As most of you know finances have been spread thin in our home for some years now, and like others it's getting even harder. I know Steve has a lot of people out there who love him, and would also like to see him return to his full & active puppy lifestyle. Any little bit you can offer would be appreciated from the bottom of our hearts...and Steve's. We also have him on a low cal diet to help him lose some weight as he has accumulated some extra pounds over the last few months of being more sedentary with his injury, and to promote a more positive recovery for his leg.
