As some of you know, Steve was diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer last month. After two weeks of thorough evaluation, Steve and the oncologists at Memorial Sloan Kettering made the decision not to move forward with treatment for his cancer. His cancer is extremely aggressive and has metastasized from his pancreas to his liver.
Steve is receiving hospice and palliative care at the home of Stephanie and his daughters in Sun Valley, ID. Stephanie, Catie, Maggie, and Lizzie have been taking turns throughout the night helping with his care. We know a night nurse will only be a small help with this situation, but one that would be most appreciated.
This GoFundMe has been set up to cover the costs of the night nurse who we hope to have start on Christmas Eve.
