Steve Sekel Memorial Fund

Anyone who knew Steve knows what a standup guy he was. He lived life to the fullest and had no regrets. He had the most contagious smile and would light up any room he walked into. He was a personable guy who genuinely cared about everyone he came in contact with. This page is being set up to honor Steve’s legacy in ways he would’ve wanted.
 
Steve was the definition of a true American. He celebrated the 4thof July to full extent every single year. There are only a few times in his life where he wasn’t sporting red, white, and blue attire. Starting this July, there will be a “Steve Sekel’s Freedom Fiesta” with live music, food, drinks, and fireworks. We hope to make this an annual event.
 
Steve had a passion for basketball, golf, and football to name a few sports. He took pride in being a fan of the Wisconsin Badgers, Milwaukee Brewers, Milwaukee Bucks, and the Green Bay Packers, but he had a special place in his heart for Crandon Cardinal athletics. There will be a college scholarship set up in his name to be awarded to someone who participates in athletics in the near future.
