Steve Staggs
My dad, Steve Staggs, was involved in a horse accident on August 24th 2020. He was airlifted to UAMS where he was diagnosed with 3 broken ribs and 2 brain bleeds, in the frontal lobe. He spent 12 days at UAMS. He was transferred to Encompass Rehabilitation Hospital on Saturday, September 5th. We are currently taking life minute by minute, hour by hour and day by day as much is unknown with a TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury).
We really wanted Dad to be able to go to Baptist Rehab since it is the only TBI accredited rehab in the state of AR. However, God had other plans. Even though I am 20 minutes away, my mom is traveling 4+hours to see him. She is trying to preserve all work time now; in order, to have enough family leave time when he does come home.
If you know my Dad at all, he would not approve of me requesting funds for him. He has always been the giver vs receiver. I have been asked by several friends to set up a go fund me account to assist with medical bills, gas, food, etc. to assist while he is unable to work.
Please note, we ask for nothing more than than prayer. We know the power of prayer and continue to have faith that God’s got this!
