Steve (Steven) Robinson. Let's give him a good send off!

Hello, my name is Sarah, I am a friend of Steve & Anita.

It is with extreme sadness and a heavy heart that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Steve Robinson.

He was a big character who touched many people’s lives. A loving, loyal and trustworthy partner and friend, dedicating a lot of his time to raise awareness and funds for Guide Dogs UK. Whilst fighting for what he felt was right as a Unison Rep.

Steve was overjoyed when Guss (his big lump) came into his life, making his life an easier place to be, he wanted to allow others to have that same opportunity.

Steve will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Because of the shock of his loss, the family is not prepared for the financial burden that goes along with planning a funeral at this time.

If you knew Steve and are able to donate (no matter how small) this will allow his family to give him the send-off he deserves, every little bit of help will be greatly appreciated. All funds will help with any funeral expenses, any excess money will be donated to Guide Dogs UK in Steve’s name.

Steven’s final journey will take place on Friday 11 October; 14:30 at Lawnswood Crematorium.

Anita has been advised people can meet 15 mins before for a chat before the service starts.

Family flowers only, but there will be a collection plate for Guide Dogs, a charity very close to their hearts.
