Steve Teschke's Medical Expenses

Hi! My name is Regan Montoya. I am the daughter of Marty Montoya who has called Steve Teschke one of his best friends since "wayyyyy back" when they met in the Kappa Sigma fraternity at ASU in 1980.

Steve, often affectionately referred to by his last name Teschke, has been in the hospital since September 2022. Steve has survived many ups and downs in the last 5 months of hospitalization, ranging from issues with his heart and kidneys to a variety of infections, pneumonia, and COVID. All of these setbacks have prevented Steve from being able to undergo surgery for a hip replacement that he has needed since he was first hospitalized. As of mid February 2023, Steve's insurance has been maxed out for preoperative long term care and he and his family will now be forced to pay out-of-pocket for the duration of his hospital stay until he receives surgery. His insurance WILL kick back in for surgical and post-operative hospitalization and medical care.

The ultimate goal of this GoFundMe is to ensure that Steve and his family will not have to worry about the out-of-pocket cost of his medical care, so that Steve can remain focused on getting that brand new hip and making a full recovery.
