Donate to help Steven Tift’s Cancer Treatments

Hello, I am Bryan Tift. My sisters Jessica, Carly and Bailey and I are fundraising to help support our father's battle with cancer.

Our dad's battle with cancer began in 2015 when he was diagnosed with colon cancer. He was on treatment, and they had to remove a portion of his colon which resulted in a 28-day stay in the hospital due to an infection. Once he was out, he carried out rehabilitation and the cancer was soon declared to be in remission.

7 years went by in remission until regular doctor's visits and scans showed concerning signs that the cancer had returned. After more tests, it was revealed it had returned and metastasized into several sports through his body - including his liver and lungs. He began treatment of chemotherapy and after 10 months of battling and stable cancer markers, they began to rise again. His doctor had informed him that his body was no longer reacting to the chemotherapy.

After receiving the news, the doctor recommended a phase 1 clinical trial for treatment that he could try and get my dad into if he qualified. We are still waiting to hear back on that trial. Being proactive, my dad began to seek alternative treatments until a decision regarding the clinical trial could be reached. With his doctor’s permission, my dad began a series of natural protocols which are not covered by insurance. These protocols and treatments can cost anywhere from $3,000 – $5,000 a week.

My sister and I are starting this GoFundMe to help our dad get the treatment he needs without holding back. This will include medicines, doctors fees, consulting fees, therapy fees, medical testing costs, travel expenses, and any other health-related expenses.

It is tough going through this with our family right now. During this time we are praying for God to heal our dad.
