Steve White is a Senior Health & Safety Advisor for Aggregate Industries UK Ltd, and general 'good egg'.
He is battling 'Glioblastoma GBM Brain Cancer' and is having to self-fund a radical treatment that he cannot obtain in the UK, but can get in India.
However, the cost of this treatment is taking it's toll on Steve's finances as he is having to self fund and as such, a team of Aggregate Industries employees are embarking on a two day bike ride from Heathrow Asphalt Plant to Sheffield Asphalt Plant, via Bardon Hill quarry on 22nd and 23rd September to raise money to give Steve some help to pay towards the ongoing treatment.
The ride will cover just under 200 miles and there are representatives from most of our business areas.
