Steve Zoller Cancer Treatment

Donation protected
In March of this year my dad, longtime Laguna Beach resident Steve Zoller was diagnosed with Melanoma, an unusually large mass of approximately 3 inches in length by 2 inches in diameter located in his right buttocks area. Melanoma is usually found topically on the skin, however his tumor was within his body and large enough that it could not be removed successfully at its current size. We proceeded to consult with oncologist Dr. Wagner who instituted a protocol of Keytruda, a relatively new and highly touted immunotherapy cancer treatment, with the expectation that the tumor mass would be reduced in size so that it could be excised completely. After undergoing five Keytruda treatments the tumor mass remains virtually unchanged. On his last visit to the oncologist at the end of July he was told that he should expect to undergo one more Keytruda treatment and a subsequent MRI of his pelvis to determine if the mass has become smaller.

We contacted the Cancer Center for Healing (CancerCenterForHealing.com) located here in Orange County and whose focus is on Alternative Integrative Healing. Patients from the world over come to the Cancer Center for Healing for their innovative treatments. Just yesterday we met with Dr. Virginia Von Schafer M.D. and based on his previous PET scans, MRIs and lab work  and Steve's medical history we received a comprehensive assessment of Steve's current condition and situation. We were deeply impressed with her knowledge and experience in treating challenging cancer situations such as Steve's. Dr. Schaefer inspired hope in us that even though Steve's condition is considered stage IV cancer there is a lot that can be done to improve my chances of a positive outcome. She stressed that time is of the essence.

Dr. Schaefer has advised Steve to follow a protocol of treatments in attempt to decrease the size of the tumor by half in order to allow surgical removal.  As these therapies are all considered alternative to the standard cancer care treatments they are not covered by any medical insurance policy.

For the purpose of securing the needed funds in this emergency we are reaching out to all of Steve's friends and family for donations, as well as offering some of Steve's Gicle art prints for purchase. Steve has been working full-time through his cancer challenge, and thankfully his energy has been very good and has not suffered any side effects from his treatments. Steve will continue to do so while undergoing Dr. Schaefer’s integrative cancer protocol. We hope that you can help our family in this time of need.
