DEPUTY STEVE GOSS
On March 1, 2018, Deputy Steve Goss passed away unexpectedly. Steve, a warrant office, with the Morgan County Sheriff's Office spent his life helping others and served the community with dignity and honor. He was a SWAT team member, a Medal of Valor recipient, Husband, Father, and Grandfather. Deputy Goss was a beloved member of his agency. While the community is reeling from his untimely passing, his family seeks steady ground on which they can begin to process and heal from this unthinkable loss. Deputy Goss was a public servant to his core; he served his community for 19 years in law enforcement, and has served in many capacities for the Morgan County Sheriff's Office.
In this time of trauma, the last thing any family wants to worry about is finances. Nothing can replace Steve in the lives of his loved ones; however, making sure that his family is cared for is a way we honor his service. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, in advance for your generosity. May your prayers and compassion be a reminder to the Goss family of the good in the world.
