Steven Asbury's moto accident fund

Donation protected
Hi everyone. Just a few updates. First, Steven is very thankful for all of your donations! It's helped him pay rent for this month, and helped with food, and other small bills. And we were hoping this amount would be enough until he heard back from his lawyer.
However, it has come to light that Steven will not be getting any compensation from the accident, as the person at fault can't pay him at all according to his lawyer. .. That is why we are raising the amount to at least 27k, because his medical bills are almost double that. And he still hasn't been able to go back to work... No donation is too big or small, any amount will surely help. Here's what Steven had to say about his current situation:

From Steven:

"So I’ve lost a part of my body and my life has been a living hell and this bitch walks away and I get nothing. I’ve never felt so defeated in my life. Just talked to my lawyer and he said that the lady has nothing so there’s no reason to sue. We could spend 25 grand and go to trial, but she’ll just file bankruptcy and then she walks away and we get nothing but debt. The only thing that will happen to her now is getting her license suspended for 6 months. It wasn’t even her car, and she had no insurance.

My medical bills are well over 85 grand, and I have uninsured motorist, but that only covers 15 grand. I applied for aid so hopefully that will help. But I haven’t worked since September 28th ,so I have a lot of lost wages. And I get like 38 bucks a day from disability which is pretty terrible. My motorcycle repairs are probably gonna be a little over than what I got as well.

I haven’t posted what happened to me or any details cause my lawyer said not to, but since it’s all fucked now and nothing is gonna happen, I’ll share.

Basically she U-turned into my lane from the other side without looking, with an SUV that filled up the entire lane. My choices were: ride up on the side walk and hit someone, or go into other lane with oncoming traffic, or do what I did and go into a skid and hit her head on into the side of her car.

My shin was cut open and banged up, but the worst part was that I slammed my balls into the tank. Long story short, I was rushed to the hospital and they did an ultrasound and said my left testicle was pretty destroyed. Imagine a hard boiled egg, the white is protecting the yoke. Well in my case, the white was cracked open and the yoke was pouring out all over the place. They said it was probably dead and they’d have to remove it with a slight possibility of saving some of it. I almost cried, but my boy Whitney was there when I got the news so I held it together. They did the surgery, and they said they ended up saving about a third and that it would be way smaller than it was and that it might not even work at all. They said I’d be ok with just one working as far as sex/kids etc.

So since then, it’s been a hard road to recovery. I was feeling OK with my situation cause I figured well, at least I’ll get a decent pay day. I never thought in a million years that I’d get nothing for someone breaking the law and destroying my life, and me losing a body part forever. I’m having a hard time coping with this physically and mentally big time."
