Steven Berge Funeral & Memorial Costs

On the evening of November 23rd, 2022, my father, Steven Berge, passed away after a long battle with a slew of illnesses.

Unfortunately, since my dad was disabled for nearly 30 years, he did not have much savings or life insurance after many years of medical bills. Due to his disabilities, my father kept to himself, but when he was present, he brought joy to all those around him. He instilled many principles that fuel my drive as a disability and healthcare reform advocate.

We created this GoFundMe to hope that people will (if you can afford it) help us hold a proper memorial and funeral service for my dad. Any assistance is most appreciated. He donated his body to science, which unfortunately came with unexpected fees.

This was one of the toughest Thanksgiving for my family since he passed the night before. Please donate only if you can afford to do so, and any donations are most appreciated as this will help relieve some of the financial burdens on my family. Removing this burden will help my family properly grieve, especially with all this happening at the start of the holiday season.
