Steven's fight against Hodgkin's lymphoma
Donation protected
Hi everyone.
My name is Stephen Borden.
I’m a young 26-year-old male that loves dogs, my family & my mates.
After loosing my beloved bulldog Gracie at the start of August i had noticed sudden weight loss, loss of appetite and fatigue.
I had put it down to being depressed as i was learning to live life without my best mate by my side.
Tuesday 5th September I was diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma after spending a week in hospital.
I guess I’m like any other Aussie male in the sense that I hate to ask for help but as time goes on and I’m unable to work it’s making paying for treatment more and more difficult.
Unfortunately cancer is not an immediately treatable Illness. I will be undergoing chemotherapy for the next 6 months - having to spend 3 days in hospital every 21 day cycle, although anyone who has been through a similar situation knows it can take years to feel yourself again.
I understand not everyone is in a position to help, but if you are any amount big or small will help on my road to recovery.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story, any help is GREATLY appreciated
