️ In Loving Memory of Steven Lomberg ️
February 24, 1987 - February 27, 2024
It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we share the news of the passing of our beloved brother, Steven Lomberg, at the age of 37. Steven was a cherished son, brother, loving uncle and loyal, caring friend. His bright light touched the lives of all who knew him.
Steven was more than a brother to us; he was a pillar of strength, a source of unwavering support, and a constant source of joy in our lives. His kindness, warmth, and infectious laughter brought light into even the darkest of days.
Tragically, Steve lost his battle with longterm major depression, and we are devastated beyond words. Our family, including his three sisters (Tracy, Sheryl and Lesley), and our dear mother, Linda are grappling with immense grief and struggling to come to terms with this unimaginable loss.
Steven was not just a brother and son; he was a confidant, a protector, and a best friend. He was always there when we needed him, offering a listening ear, a shoulder to cry on, or a comforting embrace. His absence leaves a void in our hearts that can never be filled.
Despite multiple attempts to get treatment for his longterm major depression, various treatments, therapy and medications failed to alleviate the severe symptoms he was experiencing.
Even so, Steve wanted his death to benefit others and he arranged donation of what could be used to science to teach doctors and aid in helping future generations . That was the kind of man he was.
In honor of Steve's memory, we are raising funds to assist with final expenses.
We hope that by shedding light on his story, we can help others who may be silently battling similar emotional and mental symptoms and conditions.
Please consider donating and sharing this fundraiser in memory of Steven.
Every contribution, no matter the size, will tremendously make a difference, helping us with final expense costs. Together, our family will fight to keep Steve's spirit alive and honor his legacy.
Steven will always live on in our hearts and memories. He will always be a part of us.
