Steven Karl Jernigan

Hi, my name is Rodney Alston. I am starting this page in memory of Steve Jernigan, my childhood friend since about age 15, who recently passed away this December, 2023. I am creating this page in hopes this can be a way he can continue to provide for the love of his life,,, his daughter, Karleigh. There was nothing he cared for more than this little girl. (now 15) I know, me and my daughter spent some fun lunches, dinners, ball games with them both. All fun times, with of course, plenty of jokes and laughs!! I wanted to create a way Steve can help Karleigh, at least with financial expenses, as she plans to graduate high school in a few years, and then on to college. My goal here is to help Karleigh get through her college years, graduate without all the debt many students have starting adult life. Karleigh's mom, Trish has always done a great job providing for her, as a single mom for many years now. But my hope is this fund will help take some financial burden off them both, at least when Karleigh goes to college. Contribute if you wish. God bless.

Oh, Steve would want a joke here, so heres my best shot...

An elderly man owned a large farm, which had a nice pond at the far end of the property. So he decided to fix up with picnic tables, swim platform and some apple and peach trees for the neighborhood kids and families to enjoy.

One evening he was walking down to the pond with his bucket, to collect some fruit. As he got closer he heard voices, laughing, shouting sounding like someone was having fun!!

As he got closer he noticed it was several young women skinny dipping in the pond. As he got closer the women noticed him, and moved out to the deeper end.

As he was walking closer, one of the ladies shouted over, saying "were not coming out until you leave!! " Farmer responded, "I didn't come down here to watch you ladies swim naked!!"

Holding the bucket up the farmer shouted, "I'm just here to feed the crocodile!!!"
