Steven Lundy Tragic Logging Accident

Donation protected
Hello everyone, my name is Kayla and Steve has been a friend of mine for years now. Tragically he was in a serious logging accident today while at work. This morning while at work putting a new drop line it sucked him up into the sheeve, completely amputating his leg from below the knee down. Rushed to Tacoma General he is currently in stable condition and unbelievably maintaining good spirits, which I would expect none the less from him. Never without a smile and the willingness to do for others at the drop of a hat. He is a dad above all else, hard working every day of his life, retired Veteran, serving in Iraq on multiple deployments, with his son currently being enrolled,to continue in his footsteps. You won’t ever find him not proud of his kids, complimenting someone else, giving a kind word, or saying something to make you laugh till your stomach hurts. Regardless of time between conversations and get togethers, he will show up for friends and family no matter what and I believe he would for anyone who asked. He has asked only for prayers. Being as humble as he is, I asked before taking the initiative on making this, but I can’t imagine the long road ahead of Steve for recovery alone, he is suffering the complete loss of his right leg from the knee down. Im asking for help, anything and any amount will help. The future and what all it will entail to get him through this is unknown, and we all know how the unknown is the scariest place to be. With enough to focus on to get Better, which should be his only focus, my goal is to help alleviate some of the stress of the unknown and help pay for medical, recovery, monthly bill etc. to help navigate a entire new way of life. Simply asking for the kindness he has always shown, for us, anyone, to show the same kind in return for a friend during his time of need. Also please if anything keep him in your prayers as it’s genuinely all he’s asked for. Thankyou for taking the time to read, say prayer and or donating. It’s beyond appreciated.
