Steven Marcus (Mark) Butler

Mark was born on Sept. 9th, 1970 to Don Butler and Beryl Johnson Butler in Mount Pleasant, TX. After Mark graduated from Bland High School in 1989, he went on to join the United States Army in 1990. During his time in the Army, Mark spent a few years in Germany, serving as a heavy-wheeled vehicle mechanic. After his time in the Army, he went on to continue his career as a diesel mechanic.

In 2006, Mark Married the love of his life, Serena, combining their families to 7, including Marcus, Donovan, Aaron, Amanda, and Skyler.

Mark was an avid hunter and enjoyed spending time with his family outdoors; shooting guns with his kids, bow hunting, drinking a nice glass of whiskey with his brother, and talking about the good times around a campfire. He was happiest when on his tractor cutting hay, and when alongside his wife and taking care of their farm animals. Mark enjoyed listening to Texas country music, reloading ammunition, and tinkering with all things mechanical. He was generous with his time and would help out anyone that needed a helping hand.
