i am missing him with such heavy sorrow. With every breath iI take, I remind myself that I must go on. Humbly, I thank you,
Pamela, Cornish Brown.
Hello. My nickname is Pamela Cornish Brown.
Steven Brown is the love of my life; my husband, nearly 43 years. Since 2014, when he was on chemo for a neurological disease, he has battled with a disease that is similar to ALS.
We met in College and I knew right away he was going to be my forever. We dated for 2 1/2 years and then married. We have three beautiful boys: Sean, Thomas, and Jack. He was coached in LL, Pony baseball, and helped with football over 19 years.
Steve is a master carpenter and landscaper; had his own company. He traveled around the world doing landscape construction, irrigation, and waterfall designs. He later became a remarkable and passionate educator (PK-6) with low SES and ESL.
A graduate of Texas Tech University, he loves his Red Raiders. We lived in Austin over 35 years before we moved to Hawaii and subsequently to New Mexico. New Mexico is where he grew up as a child before his family moved to Amarillo. He felt like he had come home when we returned to NM.
So now his life is coming to an end with systematic organ failure. It appears with all else that he was fighting, he had
Co-Vid, too. He always recognizes me, but day by day he responds, less and less. He winked and feebly smiled today.
Due to his health, he was not able to acquire life insurance, etc. Therefore, I humbly decided to do a GO FUND ME to help with the medical bills and service.
This is the hardest thing I have ever had to do. I will go back to teaching little school and good time. Work will keep my mind busy and my heart full. In the meantime, if you have a story to share or you can make a donation, anything would be appreciated. Warmest regards and fondest memories Pamela Brown .
