Our Father was not perfect by any means. But he did have one of the biggest hearts that we his Kids have ever seen. Our dad, Steven Cummins, was Free spirited, inspirational and hard working. He loved to spend his time fishing and could cook the best darn steak you'd ever taste. He was one of the funniest people we ever met and has taught us so many valuable life lessons. Steven was an extremely intelligent person and I don't think he knew his full potential. Life was not always kind to Steven and to be honest has never been very kind to the Cummins. But He still found a way to be completely carefree within the chaos of his life. It's with a heavy heart that we are saying goodbye to our dad and we won't get to see him living out his days next to the lake teaching his grandchildren how to catch a fish as he did with the two of his children. We don't have the words to express our grief and have rewritten this about 100 times because reality hasn't hit quite yet. These are extremely difficult times and nobody truly prepares you for a loss as big as such. We hate to ask for handouts, but we are in a tight spot financially and would like to try to give our father a proper send-off/goodbye. We are asking, if anybody can hand out a helping hand, it would be greatly appreciated. With whatever funds are left over we would like to donate the remaining to a charitable cause such as the Rosecrance Foundation or another for addiction prevention. We miss our dad dearly and we know he is missed by others deeply. His impact will carry on in all the future lives he will be a part of and stories of steven will carry on.
