As many of you know, our dad passed away unexpectedly on April 1, 2020. He was the rock of our family and was always there for us within a split second. We are still trying to wake up from this nightmare and accept that he really is gone. This was a complete shock to our family. My dad was an incredible husband, father, son, pop-pop, uncle, friend, coach, official, umpire and just an all around amazing man. He would light up the room the second he walked in. I truly don't remember a day that my dad did not make me laugh. He will be missed terribly by his family, friends, church family, and all who knew and loved him.
With all of the emotional pain and stress that death brings, it also brings unfortunate financial burden to the family. We are trying to raise money to help our mom with the many costs that she is now faced with and to help her keep the house that she and my dad built together for as long as possible. It is in times of loss and sadness when we see people come together to help and support the people they care for. Many people are asking us what they can do for our family and this is a way that we can help our mom the most.
We are thankful for any support you are able to provide for our family. For all of those who have already reached out to help, we are truly grateful. We recognize that this is an extremely tough time for everyone due to the virus so please know that we completely understand if you aren't able to help.
We will be having a Celebration of Life memorial service for our dad when this pandemic is over. We want to give him the send off he truly deserves. In the meantime, please continue to keep our family in your thoughts and prayers.
Love,
Abbey, Taylor, Alyssa, and Steven Jr.
