Steven Staples' Funeral Service

Steven Andre Staples, was born August 24, 1990 in Atlanta, Georgia to Stephen and Sheila Staples. He is the oldest of four children and leave behind Justice, Autumn, and Tonze. From birth, Steven suffered from Tuberous Sclerosis and severe Epilepsy; he was officially diagnosed at age 9. He was raised in McDonough Road Baptist Church and maintained an active role in the youth group, completing many mission trips and community service projects. There were many days and nights Steven had to bare through painful seizures that depleted his energy, altered his mental state, and often wore him down emotionally. However, despite his debilitating condition Steven persevered and graduated from Mount Zion High School in 2008 and went on to briefly pursue higher education at Fort Valley State University. After school, Steven continued to work hard with Henry County Landscaping as well as Clayton County where many grew to affectionately know him as "Big Boy." After leaving landscaping, he went on to work with Doster Paint Works until his passing. Steven enjoyed paint balling and inviting his friends and family out to play some games with him! He truly devoted his life to love and putting a smile on others' faces. Steven's smile, warmth, and personality will forever be remembered and missed by all who came to know and love him. 

We, the family, are asking for donations no matter how big or small due to insurance being unwilling to cover him because of his condition. We are working with South Care Cremation and Funeral Services in Stockbridge, GA to have a viewing and funeral service in the coming week. We are truly appreciative and grateful for whatever contributions can be made, even your kind words and prayers are very much needed and valued.
