Steven Whitney Medical and Memorial Costs

Donation protected
Steven LeRoy Whitney came into this world the most hard-headed person to exist and went out the exact same way. Upon learning he was diagnosed with late-stage terminal cancer less than a month ago, he did not let that stop him from putting up a fight every single day. You could not tell this man no. He got his first job at the age of 12, and he kept working every day until he passed at the age of 73. Steve was born in Seattle, Washington where his family descended from the English and the Native American Tlingit Tribe in Alaska, and he spent the remainder of his life in Louisville, Kentucky. Steve loved an Americano with a splash of half and half, the Atlanta Braves, and smoking a cigar on a nice summer day.

Steve belonged to a tight-knit family of three. He is survived by his wife, Darlene, and his 22-year-old son, Steele. Having such a small but mighty family made things like Christmas gift-giving super easy, but it makes this loss feel completely devastating. A whole became 2/3.

Steve's medical and memorial costs fall on his wife and son. While Steve would detest fundraising on his behalf, the help this money would provide is immense. It is impossible to fill the hole his loss leaves, but any financial help allows us to keep going just how he would want. Thank you for anything you can spare.
