Steve's battle against cancer
Donation protected
Steve was recently diagnosed with Stage 3 advanced colo-rectal cancer. At 28, this diagnosis is rare and unexpected. The treatment plan in place is 12 months and requires Steve to undergo intense chemotherapy, radiation, and multiple surgeries. Steve will have his first surgery Tuesday September 19, and will begin chemotherapy the first week of October. His doctor's here in Boston are world class, and have given a hopeful prognosis of being "cured with a capital C." We have full confidence in his team, and the advances that have been made in treatment in recent years – however, the road to “kicking cancers ass” is going to be long and hard fought.
Steve is currently an AIT at Dedham Country and Polo Club. The treatment side effects will understandably prevent him from working full time. Our hope is to alleviate some of the financial hardships that will be inevitably faced during this difficult time, and we ask that that you consider donating.
If there is anyone who can beat cancer, it's Steve. He is the most determined person I know, and maintains a positive attitude no matter what obstacles he may face.
We appreciate your thoughts and prayers, and thank you in advance for your donation.
