Steve's Marathon Fundraise-NationalCMV Foundation
Tax deductible
On November 7th I will be running in the 50th annual NYC Marathon, and as part of the race, I have signed on to become a supporter of the National CMV Foundation.
I'm committed to helping the Foundation raise $40,000 as part of my race plans and I could really use your help. Every donation, large or small, makes a difference and moves the National CMV Foundation not just closer to their fundraising goal, but to their mission of preventing pregnancy loss, childhood death, and disability due to congenital cytomegalovirus (cCMV).
The National CMV Foundation was started by my great friends John and Kristen Spytek after their daughter, Evelyn Grace was born with congenital CMV.
More information about National CMV Foundation: The National CMV Foundation is a network of advocates and professionals who work to inform and educate communities about the risks of congenital cytomegalovirus (CMV) infection, especially among pregnant women. Children born with CMV often have birth defects and experience significant development disabilities. Unfortunately, despite this reality, CMV remains the most common infection among babies born in the U.S. The Foundation's primary mission is to eliminate CMV infection within the next generation.
