Steve-Trisha Hoffmann

Hi, my name is Tanya. I am Trisha’s sister (Steve’s SIL).

I’m setting up this fundraiser to raise some money for Steve and Trisha to hopefully help with mounting medical bills. We thought we would have enough time to have an in-person live fund raiser but life doesn’t always go as planned.

Steve was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma IIb in October of 2022 after several months of severe fevers, fatigue etc after COVID in July of 2022. He started chemo treatments in December 2022 and has had intermittent breaks between rounds of chemo and radiation however each time treatment would stop his symptoms would return. Trisha has been caring for Steve through all the treatments and sickness all while holding down two jobs.

Steve took a turn for the worst on 8/15/2023 and was admitted to the hospital, he went into cardiac arrest on 8/20/2023 and has been on a vent in the ICU since that time.

I am so happy that Trisha has finally agreed to let me do this for her and Steve; anyone that knows Trisha knows that she is the 1st person to show up at your door when there is something wrong.

I’m just hoping we can pull together and help a little so she can continue to stay by Steve’s side and not worry as much about everything else.

Steve is fighting hard; we see glimpses even through sedation. He is able to squeeze her hand and sometimes when Trisha is playing his music his fingers move as if he’s playing his bass guitar.
