Mike's Healing Journey

This is very hard for us, but we are in a position where we need to put our pride aside and ask for help.

For those of you who know Mike personally, know he is a character and a big personality. He has been dealing with a number of issues with his health and well-being for quite some time, and you likely never would have known. Mike isn't one to tell people what is going on with him, but would be the first to ask you how you're doing and genuinely care about your response.

Mike is currently hospitalized after being in a very serious car crash. He's so far undergone one very complex operation to rebuild the hip that was shattered by the impact of the crash, and is scheduled for another operation tomorrow morning.

Although this is a very scary time and very stressful, we are very grateful that he is still living and nobody else was injured. We do not know at this time how long Mike will need to stay in the hospital, but we do know that he has a very long road ahead of him and will not be able to walk for a minimum of 3 months and an unknown time for full function to return.

While Mike is hospitalized with this severe hip injury as well as a traumatic brain injury, he is also being treated for other issues that he has been dealing with for a long time and has put off caring for.

The medical bills will be mounting up, and we still need to be sure that Mike has a safe home to return to to recover upon his release. Please consider making a donation of any size. Every single dollar helps.
