Stewart Home Loss Fund

Hello Family & Friends. As many of you know, after spending the summer in Ohio, my parents returned to Florida in September only to discover the tragic loss of their house and most everything in it. It was struck by lightning, which kicked the AC off. The house sat in the Florida summer heat and was taken over by Black Mold. Everything fabric or wood has to be thrown out and the house must be gutted. They have lost their clothes, shoes, linens, mattresses, sofa, recliners, tables, and much, much more. This fund will help in replacing these things.  They did, of course, make an insurance claim; unfortunately, their policy, as most Florida policies, has a 10,000.00 cap on mold. The estimate to repair the home is 30,000.00 plus the cost to replace contents. It has been a devastating and heartbreaking situation, but we are working through it. Roy and Sandra are used to giving help and not asking for it. FYI: This fund will be a surprise for them. Hopefully, it will ease the burden of starting over at age 75 plus.
