Still FIGHTING with Mike!

Hello and Hafa Adai! My name is Michael Nauta Jr. and I'm humbly reaching out to family, friends, and anyone willing to help me out in my battle and fight.

It's nearing the one year mark since my diagnosis with nasopharyngeal carcinoma (Head & Neck Cancer). I am certainly still continuing my battle and fight. Over the course of the last several months I have done chemotherapy, radiation treatment, and a slew of other things and I still try to remain positive and optimistic.

While doing treatment I have gone through many changes to include not being able to taste, eat well, amongst several other challenges.

My most recent follow-up with my doctors have pointed the needle in a positive direction but I am still not cleared and out of the woods. In a few weeks I will have a bunch of scans to include CT, MRI, and a PETSCAN. The last of the three I will have to do off-island as Guam doesn't do it or I should say is unable to.

My hope and eventual goal is to win this battle and get back on my feet to working and doing things I once was capable of doing. I am asking from the bottom of my heart for your kind help and contribution. More importantly I'm also asking for your continued prayers and love.
