Let's Make Kristin's Dream Happen!

Our daughter-in-law, Kristin, was killed in a head-on collision in the US two weeks ago today.   Our son, Owen, had moved over here to Australia in September to be near us, and Kristin and their son, Onyx, were to join us in a few months.  Owen had been working and saving to bring Kristin and Onyx over and to establish a place for them here.  We were all looking forward to them coming, and now Kristin is gone.
It took Owen's savings and a big bite of ours to get him back to the US to be with his son, and for Kristin’s funeral. 

The police are charging the driver of the other car and will not release the death certificate until the investigation is completed.  This means Owen and Onyx may have to stay in the US for 3 months or more, with no income, before Owen can settle Kristin’s bank accounts, insurance, etc, and return home with Onyx.  He needs to buy food, cover transportation costs and rent, pay school fees, and eventually travel back home with Onyx and start again here. 

We are praying that we can raise $20,000. USD, enough money to support Owen and Onyx through the next several months and bring them back home to us, and get them on their feet again.  We appreciate any assistance with this, including prayer.  Not only are we devastated emotionally, but we see a financial disaster opening up as well.
