St. James Hospital Research For Wilms Tumours
Donation protected
Hello everybody, Wilms tumor, also known as nephroblastoma, is a rare kidney cancer that mainly affects kids. Only 3% of all Wilms cases are found in adults.
As a result of this, Wilms tumor can often affect other areas of the body aswell. In some cases, it can develop into late stage cancer. This is what is currently happening to our good friend Fearghal Clerkin.
For us, to show solidarity, we are raising money and shaving our heads with the aim of raising awareness and hopefully making a hefty donation to the St. James Foundation for Research on Wilms Tumours.
Any support would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all.
We will be shaving our heads on Wednesday the 15th of November and the donation will be made on the following Sunday.
This donation will provide funding to St. James Foundation for research on Wilms Tumours.
