Pastor Stock - financial support
Donation protected
I am a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Bear Creek, WI. Our small congregation has a sister church, Grace Lutheran. We all live in rural and small town settings, work hard, pray hard and play hard.
For the past year and a half, Grace and Trinity shared the love and services of Pastor Michael Stock. He and his wife and five children enjoyed their rural home here.
Today as I scrolled down my Facebook news, I saw a post from our duo churches, revealing that we've lost our young pastor. He was in a tragic head-on collision. He's gone. Our pastor, Holly's husband. Father to Hannah, Isaac, Kitra, Elsabet and Avi.
Holly is home-schooling and caring for the children. She hasn't another job. Mike was driving the only car that had seats enough for the family.
My heart is aching, my thoughts are racing. A prayer service is being held tomorrow night, and I am sure people will give as never before to help this family who now has such an uncertain future.
When something tragic happens, don't we all want to leap into action? I am thankful there is a page like this where I can try to do something for a family that is reeling from tragedy.
My heart goes out to Mike's children. All I can think of is helping to see that their future can be brighter.
If you readers see a way to help out, anything raised here would go to the Stock family for their needs.
There are no words to express how thankful we at Trinity and Grace churches are for your prayers and for anything you are able to do.
